  • Niagara's Big Move Cancer Ride

    We are excited to host the 17th annual event in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre. Join hundreds of Niagara residents as they take to the roads of Pelham for the Big Moves 25K, 50K, 75K or 14K Fun Ride.

    Whether you are riding in celebration of a cancer survivor, in support of a cancer patient, or in memory of a loved one lost, riders and donors can take pride in knowing that every dollar raised supports local cancer care.

  • Autumn in the Air

    Join us for the annual Autumn in the Air concert, a delightful evening of classical music in the charming, intimate venue at St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Monday, September 15th at 7:00 PM.

    Featuring performances with Shaw company members, community members, and a special appearance by the Shaw Festival Gospel Choir!

    A Toonie Raffle will begin at 6:00 PM, featuring a variety of lovely items that will be up for grabs prior to the concert.

    This is a private event and a fundraiser for the Boxill Doherty Fund, an independent initiative which supports local theatre workers who find themselves in extraordinary or emergency situations.

    The Peter Saracino Alzheimer Golf Classic isn’t just a day—it’s a swing for change! Join us at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course on September 17th in supporting the vibrant Niagara Region community, where we champion those living with dementia and their dedicated care partners.

  • Boots and Furrows

    The Township of West Lincoln is proud to present Boots & Furrows, a free two-day community line dancing event featuring Urban Cowboy Line Dancing!

    Join us at the West Lincoln Community Centre, 177 West St., Smithville, September 18-19, 2025, for free line dancing sessions for all ages. No registration or previous line dancing experience is necessary.

    Monetary donations and non-perishable food items will be collected at the entrance to benefit West Lincoln Community Care.

    Thursday, September 18: Family (all ages) line dancing from 5 to 7 p.m.
    Thursday, September 18: Youth (9-18) line dancing from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
    Friday, September 19: Adult (19+) line dancing from 7 to 11 p.m., including a cash bar served by West Lincoln volunteer firefighters.

  • Wainfleet Fall Fair

    The Wainfleet Agricultural Society annually plans and successfully executes a Fall Fair that welcomes participation from all in Niagara and beyond.  This fully volunteer organization is managed through a volunteer Board and the skill and commitment of over 140 additional volunteers.

     On September 18, 19 & 20, 2025 we will help the community and visitors celebrate agricultural and rural life with a Wainfleet perspective. 

     The fair is open to exhibits or entries from any Niagara Community and our neighbouring community of Dunnville.   In 2024 we hosted over 7200 people who attended the three day fair.

  • Get Lost Fall Market

    The Get Lost Market returns to Sons and Daughters Winery for its second year, offering a weekend-long celebration of local creativity and community.

    Nestled in the scenic hills of the winery, the event begins Friday, September 19, from 4 to 8 p.m., with “Golden Hour at Get Lost” — a kick-off evening featuring a sip-and-shop experience and a live concert.

    On Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., more than 70 talented vendors will showcase handmade goods, vintage finds, and artisanal food and beverages. Visitors can stroll through vineyard paths, shop for unique treasures, and relax with a glass of wine while soaking in the atmosphere.

  • Beamsville Lions Annual Food Drive

    Help us reach our goal of collecting 36,000lbs of food and personal care items to restock the shelves at CCWN. This annual Lincoln-wide food drive goes to supporting families, seniors and individuals in the upcoming year!

    We thank the community for supporting the Lions Food Drive in the past, and we ask for your help again this year, so we can continue "Growing our Community Beyond Hunger"

    PLEASE PLACE DONATIONS OUTSIDE YOUR FRONT DOOR BY 9AM.   
    Here are a few handy tips when preparing your contribution:
        1.  Decide if you are going to purchase your donation or dig into your cupboard.
        2.  Please check best before dates before donating your items!
        3.  Decide if you are going to place it out for pick up, or to take it to a drop off site.
        4.  Financial Contributions are gratefully accepted, allowing us to maximize our purchasing power.
        5.  Pat yourself on the back for participating in the collection efforts of food & personal items to help your neighbours in Lincoln!

    We are committed to ensuring that all Canadians with chronic kidney disease have access to high-quality healthcare and essential support. By providing comprehensive education, we equip the public, patients, and healthcare professionals with the necessary tools to promote kidney health. We drive change through effective advocacy for impactful policies and by funding innovative research.

    Every dollar raised fuels programs and services for those affected by kidney disease. We encourage all participants to fundraise, as each contribution supports lifesaving resources for about 1 in 10 Canadians, or 4 million people, who have kidney disease.
