Everyone is invited to celebrate Earth Day at this free family event.
If you are looking for something to do with your children, there will be a presentation of Birds! — Our Only Surviving Dinosaurs, taking place at 1:15 p.m. presented by Ontariogreen Conservation Association.
Meet with members of 10+ local environmental groups including the WeeBee House, Wild At Heart, Substrata (organic) Farm, Val Fleming Butterfly Garden (native shrubs), Ontariogreen, Seniors for Climate Action Now!, Grimsby Environmental Network, Land Care Niagara (native seeds), Eco Club of Rotary, Biodiversity and Climate Action Niagara, Lincoln Library and the Bruce Trail Association.
Find some native seeds to grow and learn more about Lincoln’s new Urban Forest Management policies.
If you live in Lincoln, you are eligible to receive a native tree to plant by donation. A limited number of trees will be available at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
