 owing native seeds in containers we mimic Mother Nature and keep the seeds 
 protected from extreme weather and hungry critters.\n\nJoin us for this inf
 ormative workshop with Loretta Shields to learn more about winter sowing, a
 nd create your own mini-nursery of native plants to take home. Loretta hold
 s a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, specializing in Plant
  Protection and she is the President of the Smithville Garden Club.\n\nWe a
 sk that all participants come prepared to get their hands dirty and that yo
 u to bring your own container. Check your recycle bin and grab a plastic cl
 ear/translucent container to make your mini cold-frame. All other materials
