Bruce Trail Day with the Niagara Bruce Trail Club
Join the Niagara Bruce Trail Club as we celebrate the Bruce Trail through different hikes that are accessible to all. Learn more about the Niagara Bruce Trail Club’s contribution to promote biodiversity throughout the Niagara area and all the different hikes that have been designed for all people with different abilities and interests, including:

Reawakening: Sounds from the Forest
Join us as we experience the serene beauty of Ball’s Falls Conservation Area and reflect on the connection between land, culture, and community. Set within the breathtaking Carolinian Forest at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area, this immersive experience invites participants to deepen their understanding of Indigenous traditions, reconnect with nature, and reflect on our shared responsibilities to one another and the environment.

Guided Tours at the Brown Homestead
Explore the 220+ year old building on our site, learn about heritage conservation techniques, discover stories of rural farming families and connect with Niagara’s rich history on a highly engaging tour led by our passionate staff and volunteers!
Tours are about 70 minutes and start every hour on the hour between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Visitors are welcome to drop-in for a tour, or sign up so we know what to expect from your group. Admission by donation.

Ball's Falls Annual Thanksgiving Festival
Join us at the 50th Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival featuring 150+ unique craft and artisan vendors, delicious foods, craft beverages and wines, a farmers’ market, live music on the main stage and children’s entertainment, historical demonstrations, heritage tours, guided nature hikes, and so much more.
Enjoy the beauty of the fall season along the Niagara Escarpment as you take in the sights, sounds and delicious scents of the Thanksgiving Festival and explore the colourful forested trails.

Three Sisters Garden Closing Ceremony
Join us for our closing ceremony of the Three Sisters Garden. The tradition of “Three Sisters” originated with the Haudenosaunee people. The Brown Homestead resides on Indigenous land and we are committed to acknowledging and celebrating this history. In May, we planted a garden with three seeds; corn, beans, and squash. This free event is part of our ongoing Grow @ programming series.

Rikochez Fall Fest
The event will consist of a mechanical bull for ages 5 - 70, live music and activities for children, we will also be donating to Paws 4 Rescue which is a local not-for-profit organization located in Beamsville. $10 entry, includes a drink and snack ticket.
