  • Homeschool Day @ the Museum - Hand Building with Clay

Step into the world of hands-on history with our Museum Makers program, designed especially for homeschool students.

Guided by a museum instructor, participants will:

    - Explore the history of local Indigenous communities.
    - Examine pottery forms, patterns, and uses from the past.
    - Handle REAL artifacts
    - Create TWO clay pieces inspired by traditional making practices to take home.

  • Grimsby Celebration Choir Presents: Heroes vs Villains
The Grimsby Celebration Choir is proud to present a heartfelt and uplifting concert celebrating the heroes in our lives and community. Heroes vs. Villains: A Celebration Concert will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 7:00 PM, and promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, gratitude, and fun.
Community members are invited to nominate a hero—whether a local community member, mentor, friend, or family member—who deserves special recognition. Each nominated hero will receive a FREE ticket to the concert, a HERO souvenir gift, and will be honoured during the performance with their name and photo displayed while a special tribute song is sung in their honour. Heroes will also have the opportunity to win limited special prizes during the evening.
Hero nominations must be submitted by February 18, 2026. As part of the nomination process, heroes (or those nominating them) may also indicate if they would like to sing alongside the choir during the special tribute song, making the moment even more meaningful. Participants will be asked to attend 2–3 rehearsals, and practice tracks will be provided to support learning the music at home.
In addition to community-nominated heroes, the Grimsby Celebration Choir will also be honouring the dedicated staff at McNally House, recognizing the tireless work they do each day for our community. A portion of ticket sales from the concert will be donated to support this important organization.
