  • Ball's Falls Heritage Days

    Heritage Days are back at Ball's Fall's Conservation Area!

    Step back in time and experience the Glen Elgin village!

    Wander through and explore a mid-19th-century industrial hamlet, a historic home, a historic operating flour mill, a time-capsuled church, a blacksmith shop, and so much more!

    Heritage Days will include live demonstrations at the Blacksmith shop, Grist Mill tour, and historic tours of the Ball Home.

    Admission to the park is required.

  • Hot Summer Nights

    On Wednesday nights this summer, fire trucks and fire prevention staff will visit various parks from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., transforming trucks into giant sprinklers. Attendees will also get to tour the trucks and learn about fire safety.

  • Comedy Night in Grimsby

    Comedy Nights in Coronation Park bring the laughs to downtown Grimsby all summer long. Every Wednesday in August at 7:00 PM (August 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th), Coronation Park transforms into an open-air comedy venue featuring professionally curated stand-up acts and crowd-favourite performers. It’s an easy, fun night out—bring a lawn chair or blanket, meet up with friends, and enjoy live comedy in a relaxed outdoor setting.

  • Fonthill Bandshell Concert Series: Boomerang

    Boomerang is a nine-piece band playing tribute to the greatest soul and R&B artists and horn bands of the 60s and 70s. For years Boomerang has energized packed audiences to rave reviews at well-known festivals and music halls across Ontario. Boomerang band members have shared a stage with artists such as Bob Seger, Stevie Wonder, David Clayton Thomas, Ronnie Hawkins, Iggy Pop, Sly and the Family Stone, and the Official Blues Brothers Revue.

  • Fife & Drum Muster and Soldier's Field Day

    Join us for the 27th anniversary of our annual Fife & Drum Muster and Soldiers' Field Day!

    Fife and drum corps and infantry units converge at Fort George National Historic Site, showcasing the military music and drills of the early 19th century. This weekend-long event has become an annual tradition at Fort George, and is packed with firing demonstrations, music, and entertainment.

    Looking for something new to do in Niagara? Join us for Summer Saturdays at The Brown Homestead.

    Pop-by to explore our rural historic site, learn the stories held within the oldest home in St. Catharines, create heritage crafts, play lawn games, and enjoy hands-on activities designed for curious minds of all ages. Watch heritage demonstrations, view exhibits, and spend the day with your family. 

    Char in the Kitchen will be on-site 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. cooking up dishes to savour the flavours of summer. Enjoy a bite to eat on a picnic table, or bring a blanket to stay awhile in our walnut grove. 

    No registration required. Admission by donation. Open to all.
